It’s been a while since I sent a newsletter, so an overview of 2024 seems like a good way to restart. Moving forward, my updates will be shorter, more frequent, and include more photos. Thanks for your patience with me through the transition.

Colorado School of Worship

I had the privilege of being on the development and teaching team for the Colorado School of Worship hosted by Church of the Lookout. For 12 weeks, we had ten eager and teachable students who grew in their skill and in their love for and knowledge of God. If you are interested in joining us for future schools, please let me know!

Quarterly Group Debriefs

In January, I began offering quarterly debriefs. For those of you who are local and have full schedules but seldom take the time to process the events of your lives, these debriefs might be worth your time! We meet as a group for two hours and individually work through a process of looking at the previous three months. We seek God’s perspective and wait on Him for clarification and/or direction. These are not times for group discussion, but rather, set apart times for each person/couple to sit with Jesus and their calendars. If you would like to join us, let me know. Our next quarterly debrief is Saturday, July 20.

Young Adult Bible Study

For the past two years, I have been hosting a Bible study for young adults and this summer, we’re studying the book of Proverbs! If you are 18–25-ish, single, and would like to study the Bible in community, you are welcome to join us. If you know someone who might be interested, pass along my contact info so we can get in touch.

Debriefs

Many pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders do not have a confidential space and peaceful way to process their ministry lives. I’ve been offering 3-day debriefing sessions for nine years, and what an honor it is to sit with these precious leaders and listen to their stories. They are invaluable experiences which provide the Holy Spirit’s healing, direction, clarity, and perspective.

A New Bible Study Workbook!

I’m excited! We are in the final editing stage of a new Bible study called Biblical Meditation: God’s Remedy for Worry and Anxiety. This deep dive will walk you through about 15 creative study methods and help you train your mind to align with God’s Word. We all need help in the battle for our minds. If that speaks to you, stay tuned for the release!
